Alum Creek
Happy Fathers Day to the one’s pertains too hope you got home in time for some family time.
So here we are on a 90 degree plus day just a day before summer begins on Alum Creek, and lunching on a main lake ramp. This all adds up for headaches throughout the day if you venture our in south and middle pool. It was CRAZY out there. Did you all see that one over-sized cigar boat out there? He needs to be on Erie or Lake Cumberland. Summertime on Alum is just the way it is. Next year it should be earlier, fall or short night tourney in my opinion…(Scott G). We all have a tough time on this main lake ramp even when we don’t have to leave the boat to go get the truck. It is just hectic with no place to put your boat without alot of battle scars. I backed in and as I waited for my co-angler to return from parking truck I noticed my corner of my boat had dipped down and come up on a corner of the dock angle iron which led to chips and nice gouge. So that is just my rant…
