Lake Erie Day 1
The day began at 6am with a long day of fishing until 4pm. This was for 3 fish only tourney which was something the club wanted to do to keep as many fish alive as we could. I believe this was a “Good Call”.
Most of all the club got up there sometime on Friday. Happy Bob’s Guide Service and Big Daddy Gordon Guide Service was out there a couple of days earlier. It all made for a good week as well as a good time.
As we get into Friday night we all was able to get together for dinner which was all pretty good except those last rack of ribs which never seen the grill. Unfortunately Happy wasn’t Happy.
After dinner we did a little presentation back at Little Ted’s Cottage to Terry “Dad” Hall. He was fishing by himself on Saturday and Jeff made sure he had some company for his day.
Anytime Terry got lonely, all he had to do was tug on the beard for a little discussion.
Congratulations to Karl Guegold for a big bag of 3 fishing weighing 11.54 including a 1/2 pound penalty for a dead fish.
Day 1 had 19 members catch 48 fish with total weight of 139 pounds.
