Delaware Lake
Columbus Bassmasters had a great turnout for Delaware Lake tournament. Always nice to fish a lake close to Columbus and Delaware is so less crowded. Besides that it usually produces some nice bags of bass this time of year.
From the start of the tournament I head that even the Hoot Owl was biting! Andy Strickland was working a frog bait across the water and a Hoot Owl swooped down and picked it up then dropped it. When I heard about it I was just picturing in my mind Andy and Terry Hall trying to get that hook out of that Owl. If it was David Sprow and Terry I know Dave knows to put the jacket of the bird.
There were a couple of dead fish brought to the scales and since we made the point change this year I think we were all at a loss on what the penalty was. So for clarification it looks to be a .5 pound per fish.
