Ohio Bass Federation Championship
October 4th and 5th the Ohio Bass Federation held there state championship tournament. We had 8 members from Columbus Bassmasters team enter the event, this is the second event this team has fished this year. The first one Terry Hall from the club won top honers winning the regional back in June.
This tournament was right on top of the areas first real cold front that moved in Friday night dropping temps down in the 40’s with wind gust through out the day both Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Still with adverse conditions 3 of the 8 guys brought in a 5 bass limit to the scales on Saturday and 2 of the 3 repeated a 5 bass limit on Sunday.
Top honors go out to Rod Russell for taking 1st Place overall and Will Presley 2nd Place and Scott Cooke finished 9th. This puts these three guys on the State team representing Ohio in 2015.

Columbus Bassmasters earlier in the year put 4 other members on Bass Federation Nation state team Terry Hall, Brian Vogalsang, Bret Love and Dave Sprow.
